Gallery Shop FAQ

Scott Rinckenberger Gallery Shop FAQs

How long does it take to get my artwork?

Lead times vary a bit depending on volume of orders and travel schedules. The default is 7 days from order to shipping for 8x10 prints, calendars, etc., 14 days from order to shipping for limited-edition print-only orders, 21 days from order to pickup for framed prints. If there are increased lead times, we'll update the site with current estimates.

What does limited edition mean?

For each print offered as a limited edition, I'll only create a certain number of prints of that specific image, and after that point, no more will be created. Each specific piece sold includes information on the size of the edition, and ships with a signed certificate of authenticity so you can be confident that you're receiving a rare and valuable piece of artwork.

What can you tell me about the print quality?

The prints from the Scott Rinckenberger Gallery are created to the highest standards available. Print includes one-inch white borders including signature and edition number on bottom edge. Printed on Canson Platine Fiber Rag paper, an archival-quality fine art paper with crisp whites, rich blacks and a smooth matte finish with subtle luster. Utilizing the latest in fine-art digital giclee printing, combined with optimized file prep and paper selection, the end-effect is as similar and timeless as possible to analog photo printing, and is designed to last a lifetime. Each print is created in the Scott Rinckenberger Studio in North Bend or in close cooperation with The Color Group print lab in Seattle, Washington.

How are the prints shipped?

Prints up to 15x20 will be shipped flat via your carrier of choice. Larger prints will be shipped rolled to decrease the potential for damage in shipping. Often customers prefer to have their prints shipped directly to a local frame shop in order to reduce the amount of handling between printing and framing. Please feel free to reach out for framing recommendations. For our most popular size, limited edition 15x20 prints, we are proud to offer zero-waste round-trip packaging in which the prints are shipped flat to you in a custom portfolio box nestled within an art shipping case. Take the whole package to your frame shop, then return the portfolio box and shipping case using the included return shipping label. This option comes at an increased shipping cost, but generates no shipping waste, and is the best way to make sure your print shows up in flawless condition.
